Biography

Mark comes from a graphic design background, having studied at the University of Ballarat before moving to London for five years to work with the internationally acclaimed design studio, Why Not Associates.  In 2006 Boards Magazine named Mark one of the top ten young directors worldwide at their annual First Boards Awards. Since then he has shot in all corners of the world for global clients and become one of the most awarded and sought after directors in Australia.

His Black Balloons television spot not only made a strong social impact throughout Australia and the US, but it was part of Al Gore's Inconvenient Truth Campaign as well. His highly emotional TAC campaign underscores the tragedy caused by speeding motorists and won a gold for best direction at the Melbourne Advertising and Design Club. The piece was also shortlisted at Cannes this year.

2008 saw Mark entering the US market with Furlined in the US  working with Grand Prix winning agency T.A.G. on an Xbox spot and an anti-smoking campaign for Ground Zero.

Mark is represented by Exit Films in Australia.
