Biography

Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Nicolas studied Advertising, History of Art and Filmmaking. He started working as a freelance graphic designer, before getting a job at Agulla & Baccetti. During his five years there he obtained several awards, ranging from top local awards to a Golden Clios for his design work.  

Around this time his career took a turn towards filmmaking and his taste for comedy and acting quickly developed. By 2002 he and his partner Claudio Pastorino had founded the production company Nunchaku.

2003 saw Nicolas picked as one of the 25 directors selected for the “Saatchi’s New Director’s Showcase.” Since, he has gone from strength to strength winning several awards including; Golden and Silver Lion at Cannes, two D&AD Yellow Pencils and Golden and Bronze Clios. Most recently he has been directing spots through Madre, Santo and Del Campo Saatchi & Saatchi.
